Sculpture Trail

The Sculpture Trail was officially opened by Mayor Norma Redfearn on 10 July 2021. Funding from North Tyneside Council’s capacity grant allowed Alan Wear, Chainsaw Sculpture to be commissioned to design, create and install six sculptures on the Ramble.

Following her visit, the Mayor wrote:-

“I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for inviting me to open your new sculpture trail last Saturday, the 10th July 2021.

It was fantastic to see you all and witness for myself the work that Friends of Red House Ramble have carried out during the pandemic to ensure that residents and visitors to the area have a wonderful place to visit.

Thank you once again.

Kind Regards

Norma”
