We hold events which include BBQs, pub crawls (all very civilised around the micro pubs in the area), Christmas get together. We hold events on the Ramble for children and Easter Egg hunts always prove popular.
In 2026, we again held our annual general meeting at the Red House Farm pub. As always, it was to get together and meet those who we hadn’t met before or seen for some time. Our thanks go to the Red House Farm pub for their continued support.
Backworth Colliery Band joined us in 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 for Christmas carols. We were lucky enough also for them to come along for the Queen’s Jubilee and for the King’s Coronation in May 2023. The Salvation Army Band entertained the community shortly before Christmas in 2025.
